We discuss the laws of Shemitta in the Holy Land and how it affects us outside of Israel! We explore the midrash on the power of 7s. We discuss how “resting the land” teaches us deeper, psychospiritual ideas such as Achdut (Unity) and Bitachon (Trust in God.) We talk about how Shmitta is a rectification for Adam’s sin, and how both Shmitta and Shabbat embody the trust that leads to wealth and prosperity.
