Rosh Hashana
Elul is famously an acronym for אני לדודי ודודי לי; I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine. During Elul we’re reminded that we are Hashem’s beloved and He is ours. But what if we have a hard time connecting with this love? And what if the focus on return and correction leaves us with feelings of inferiority or depression?
Everybody talks about self-esteem and its importance. But secular ideas of self-esteem can be toxic to our neshamot, souls. Rebbe Nachman’s insights into the importance of developing what I call Holy Self-Esteem (vs. unhealthy self-esteem/narcissism) are relevant year-round, and especially so as we approach the Days of Awe. Come join me for this special talk about how to do Teshuvah while building Holy Self-Esteem in Elul–and always.

“If you believe you can destroy, believe you can repair.”
Rebbe Nachman of Breslov
“… there is nothing in the world that stands in the way of {Hashem accepting) teshuvah. And even more, everyone who returns is certainly accepted by Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Holy One Blessed be He. And if he returns, he is brought to walk the Path of Life. Then, even though he may have blemished and damaged, everything is repaired and all is restored to its pristine, original form.”
Zohar Hakadosh
Dear Friend of BreslovWoman.org,
Are you ready for the fresh spiritual energy of Rebbe Nachman’s Rosh Hashana and the profound light of the upcoming year, 5782? Are you eager to live the Rebbe’s maxim: If you believe you can destroy, believe you can repair?
Yes, YOU can truly be inspired to live your best year yet.
We have exciting programs scheduled (many of which are on the calendar, below) and there are even more in the works, for Elul, Tishrei and beyond, designed to inform, uplift, and bring joy to your life.
I created these programs for YOU. They are based on the teachings of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, and they offer real-life advice about how to achieve better relationships, genuine psychospiritual growth and joy, no matter who you are or where you are holding. All you need is true desire. As the Rebbe says: If you want, you’ll do!
But, I really need your help. We have a core group of wonderful repeat sponsors, however as our programming expands, we need more help. Each program requires planning, scheduling, advertising and promotions, announcements, class reminders, and completed audio/video/written publication on over a dozen platforms and groups. (Not to mention the most important work: class prep and teaching and following up with student phone calls, texts and emails.)
Please consider helping me share the teachings of Rebbe Nachman sponsor a mini-lesson, class or special program or two, for Elul, Tishrei, or Cheshvan. If you’ve enjoyed BreslovWoman classes and programs, why not grab an extra merit or two for the Days of Awe, by making our programs available for other women so they can be inspired too? Share the BreslovWoman joy. (For an easy how-to sponsor and available programs/dates, see below.)
In the merit of your generosity, may Hashem bless you and your family with a Fresh, Sweet New Year filled with blessings, success, good health, simcha, nachas, friendship, connection to Hashem, the true Tzaddikim, and the Jewish people, and spiritual growth, and may we merit to usher in the Mashiach and experience the Geulah speedily in our times.
Chaya Rivka Zwolinski, Director

To sponsor and make your dedication:
Please contact me right away via email or text/call 917-348-1573 to sponsor the Rebbe Nachman’s Rosh Hashana for Women: The Power of A New Beginning program, tentatively scheduled for August 30th in the evening. This will be the eighth year, ב״ה, that I’ve done a special Breslov program for women close to Rosh Hashana, but its the first year we might not have a sponsor! The class shows how women can connect with the Uman Rosh Hashana, experience the Rebbe’s Rosh Hashana wisdom, and stay inspired throughout Yom Tov. There is always plenty of time for Q & A. (Especially helpful, for women who are spending Rosh Hashana without their spouse but relevant to everyone.) This will be a ZOOM class.
