Breslov Healing: Your Body is A Map of Your Soul with Chaya Rivka Zwolinski
Register at the JCC Manhattan Website
In this class we’ll explore the Kabbalistic reasons your soul is housed in this brilliantly complex home we call “my body”. Different energetical qualities called “sefirot” are affected by and affect emotional and physical well being. Each body part corresponds to one or more of these sefirot. Anxiety and worry, anger and negativity, fear and depression are all signs of a spiritual imbalance that can be addressed by working with this unique map. We’ll also discuss some of the parts of your body and their psychospiritual counterparts, with the goal of taking home practical tools so you can find more health and joy in your life.
This class is based on the teachings of the 18th century Chasidic master, Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. His life work can be defined as an original holistic healing modality that focuses on self-knowledge rooted in Jewish mysticism.
There will also be a panel discussion from 12:00 to 1:00 pm featuring a variety of speakers including Chaya Rivka. This is part of the JCC Day of Kabbalah sponsored by the Carlebach Shul. Please note: There is mixed seating.
