Tonight, Thursday July 30th through Friday, July 31, is Tu B’av, the 15th of Av, a very special time for Jews.
Now is a wonderful time to daven to find your beshert (destiny/soul match) and to spiritually prepare yourself for meeting him or her.
We ask you to join us in prayer tonight and tomorrow, whether you know someone who is looking for their soul mate or you are looking yourself. Please daven for the singles who are registered at BreslovMatch, and of course, all the singles in Klal Yisroel.
BreslovMatch launched one year ago on Tu B’av and since then, we’ve introduced dozens of singles and have been involved in making three shidduchim. But we have a lot more work to do and we know that the main efforts must be prayer–and we need your help.
Sing For A Shidduch
Rebbe Nachman of Breslov and other Tzaddikim recommend that people who are having difficulty finding marriage partners should recite the Shiras Hayam, the Song of the Sea (Oz Yashir) with intense concentration.
I found this video of Shiras Hayam for reference, but you can find it in your Siddur and in Parshas Beshalach.
